Utah Home Performance

A federally funded program that provides up to $2,000 in rebates for Utah homeowners looking to make their homes more energy efficient. The homeowners choose from the list of participating contractors to make their homes 20 percent more efficient, and then they're eligible for a rebate equal to 50 percent of what they spend for up to $2000 in rebates if they're middle income or above. If they're more moderate income, they are eligible for as much as 80 percent of what they spend for up to $2000. This program is really similar to the state weatherization programs, except they are offered to higher income residents and therefore, the measures aren't completely free as they would be for low-income homeowners.

Professionally trained energy experts thoroughly evaluate all components of your home and provide you with a customized action plan to save energy and money. Get started on the home improvement path that will lead to better energy efficiency, greater comfort and lower energy bills.
